Two separate questions: what is the product's nutritional profile, and how does it match your selections?
The Health Score
Fiyyi's score is a guide out of 100, not a medical assessment. It uses available nutrition and ingredient information, with rules for additives, product types and data completeness. A missing value is not evidence that a nutrient is absent.
The Nutri-Score letter, when available, is shown separately. A Fiyyi score is not an official Nutri-Score certification. Scores and rules may evolve during the beta.
Your profile verdict
Fiyyi checks the preferences, intolerances, allergies and nutrition goals you selected. Fits your profile describes the available checks, not a guarantee that a food is safe. No selections means there is no personal assessment to make.
Needs checking covers uncertainty or missing information. Some dose-dependent sensitivities are shown as advisory checks in the details rather than determining the main verdict. Open View why to see individual reasons and evidence.
Household
Household combines the selections of your saved profiles without overwriting them. On a product page you can review the result for each member. A member with no selections is shown as not assessed, not as an automatic match.
Where the information comes from
Product information may come from Open Food Facts, the UAE retailer catalogue, product pages or packaging photos. Source labels appear in the product details when available. A source being listed does not guarantee that a recipe or label is current.
Photo analysis can misread text or numbers. Photograph only the packaging and check the extracted information. Do not include faces, receipts or personal documents.
Why an alternative is suggested
Better for me and Healthier answer different questions. The first considers the selected profile; the second compares nutritional quality within a similar product type. A healthier product can still conflict with an allergy.
Where comparable label values are available, Fiyyi can show the difference per 100 g. Missing or estimated values do not support a precise improvement claim. A retailer link does not guarantee stock or price.
When to check beyond Fiyyi
For allergies and medical dietary restrictions, check the current label and seek relevant manufacturer or professional guidance. Fiyyi cannot certify the absence of cross-contamination, diagnose a condition or replace medical advice.
